You might be dieting but in the wrong way. There is a myth that you lose weight if you skip meals. Dieting is not about not eating food; it’s about eating healthy food only.
To lose weight, you need to eat healthily but avoid overeating. There are a few simple tips you are supposed to follow.
First of all, never ever skip your breakfast. Eat fruits, juice or anything which is healthy and has protein in it. If you feed yourself at the start of the day, you’ll probably not crave so much the whole day.
Stop taking sugar. Not only for weight but sugar generally have many side effects. The doctor labels it as white poison.
Do not drink water just after you had a meal. Drink water 10 to 15 minutes before your meal.
Do not sleep or lie down just after you had a meal. Wait for 2 hours minimum before you go to bed.
Try walking at least 15-20 minutes
Feed your craving. As said before, you do not need to starve to lose weight. If you eat a burger daily, so you cannot cut it down suddenly. Have it once in a week, in little quantity to feed your craving.
Set goals. Motivate yourself if you lose 2-3kgs, you’ll treat yourself with anything you like (kind of cheat day)
Do not eat late at night. Your last meal should be at least 4-5 hours before you sleep.
Take food that is high in fiber and low in fats. You can add nuts to your diet. Almonds, pistachios, walnuts, etc are the best options.
