When young and beautiful Sara marries Ashir, she is unaware of the animosity she will face from his mother Anisa and sister Mehwish simply because she comes from a middle class family.
Anisa’s orphan niece Hala incites them further as she loves Ashir and wants Sara to leave. Matters get ugly when Mehwish’s rich and arrogant husband Fateh falls in love with Sara and wants to marry her.
Tensions and intrigues escalate leading to a powerful, dramatic end.
FAISAL REHMAN as FATEH:
Ashir’s wealthy brother in law who actually desires Sara and wants her at any cost. Selfish and arrogant, Fateh can be utterly ruthless with anyone who opposes him. But he can be extremely charming and generous when it suits him.
FARAH NADEEM as ANISA:
A selfish, scheming mother who manipulates her son Ashir to do whatever she wants. Ambitious and greedy, she only wants money and status and has brought up her daughter Mehwish with the same values.
HAMMAD FAROOQUI as ASHIR:
Young, good natured man. He is a loving, caring husband but easily manipulated by his mother. When his wife Sara is wrongly accused he is not strong enough to take a stand for her against his family’s emotional blackmail.
HIRA JAMAL as HALA:
Ashir’s orphan cousin who is treated like a maid in his house. But while Hala looks meek and submissive, she is actually a devious, cunning girl who wants to break up Ashir’s marriage so that she can marry him.
KINZA HASHMI as SARA:
Educated, pretty girl from middle class family. Very responsible and caring. Values honesty in her relationships and seeks a life partner with the same views.
SOPHIA MIRZA as MEHWISH:
An emotionally immature girl obsessed with wealth and luxury. Sulky and bad tempered with people below her status. She is unhappy with her husband Fateh’s insulting behaviour but cannot leave him because of the lifestyle he offers her.
